Eind vorig jaar liet ontwikkelaar Inflexion Games ons kennismaken met hun aankomende fantasytitel Nightingale, met het doel om ons er dit jaar mee aan de slag te laten gaan via Steam. Helaas gaan ze dit niet halen.
Nightingale speelt zich af in een Victoriaanse setting waarbij we ons een weg banen door verschillende werelden die verbonden zijn middels portalen. De speler komt echter vast te zitten als dit portalennetwerk ineenstort en je moet vluchten door een labyrint van mysterieuze en gevaarlijke rijken. Je uiteindelijke bestemming is de laatste halven van de mensheid, Nightingale genaamd.
Helaas moeten we wel iets langer geduld hebben om dit zelf te kunnen ervaren, Inflexion Games heeft de Early Access uitgesteld van 2022 naar de eerste helft van 2023 omdat ze besloten hebben te upgraden naar de Unreal Engine 5.
