Dan Teasdale is een naam die je waarschijnlijk niet bekend voor zal komen, maar als senior designer heb je hoogstwaarschijnlijk wel eens iets van zijn werk gezien, hij was namelijk verantwoordelijk voor het design van Rock Band.
Het opstappen van Taesdale is niet zomaar, of zoals hij het zelf uitlegt:
"I came to the realisation recently that my career has been driven by a secret achievement grind, hidden relatively successfully by the fun of making games. I craved the hit of being hands on. It's 100 per cent of your job as a staff designer, but as I became a senior and then a lead on AAA titles with 200+ people on them, the ability to chart the vision and the direction of a title starts to encroach how much time you can spend tweaking the details personally."
De designer laat de game-industrie niet achter zich, in plaats daarvan zal hij nu gaan werken voor Twisted Pixel. Alhier gaat hij werken aan een 'belachelijk cool project'.
Het laatste project waar Taesdale voor Harmonix aan werkte was Rock Band 3, de titel die later dit jaar verschijnt.
