Met Rock Band en Rock Band 2 kun je gemakkelijk online liedjes aanschaffen, maar sommigen willen liever een discversie of kunnen de DLC niet kopen. Harmonix lanceert daarom regelmatig Song Packs waarmee de DLC op een disc wordt gezet.
Hun volgende Track Pack wordt het Metal Track Pack dat een twintigtal nummers bevat. Zes van de nummers zullen tijdelijk exclusief zijn voor het Track Pack. Deze verschijnen pas later als download. Nummers met * zijn tijdelijk exclusief.
