Amazon Game Studios heeft aangekondigd dat de TV-serie The Grand Tour een eigen videogame krijgt. Net als bij de TV-serie van Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond en James May stappen we in diverse auto's om af te reizen naar locaties die het trio in de serie heft aangedaan.
In een verklaring laat Amazon weten:
quote:"It’s all the smashing, skidding, high-speed action you see on The Grand Tour without the irritating need to sleep in a tent, argue about directions or pay a sudden visit to a local hospital. If you’ve ever wanted to be Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond or James May without the inconvenience of becoming tired and breathless and always followed around by two other middle-aged men, your dreams are about to come true."
Veel inhoudelijke details zij er nog niet, wel weten we dat je een Grand Tour Game Season Pass aan kunt schappen waarmee je toegang krijgt tot nieuwe voertuigen en locaties, alsmede iedere aflevering van seizoen 3 uit de show. Het spel is in de maak voor de PC, PlayStation 4 en Xbox One.
